I like to
observe a natural world, with it's thousand of intricate forms,
shapes and textures.
My inspiration
always comes from here, starting in the form of drawings, photo
images,
and expanding in
to 3D objects. As I'm coming from a background in textiles,
sculpture
photography
& digital imaging-I'm trying to find new ways of blending few
medium
together,
sometimes balancing on the edge of craft and fine
art.
My new series of
sculptural objects-vessels are about an idea of holding or
containing
something. In
metaphorical or esoteric sense-it's about receptivity, about
readiness to
take
in, to serve, to
contain. About an idea of being Open.
